Questions
Can the person I’m shopping for see who reserved a gift?
No. Someone who owns a list never sees reservations, purchases, or gift-giver discussion. That stays among the people giving.
What if two of us want to buy the same thing?
Reserve it. Other gift-givers see that it is taken and can choose something else. The recipient still just sees the wish.
Do we buy the gifts through Gyfterli?
No. Add a link if it helps, then buy the gift where you normally would. Gyfterli does not take payment and does not sell the items.
What is a Circle?
A Circle is the lasting group of people who give together. A birthday, a wedding, and the holidays can each be an Event in that same Circle, so you do not rebuild the group every time.
Is this only for holidays?
No. People use it for weddings, baby showers, graduations, birthdays, and ordinary lists.
What do I need to start?
A free account. Create a Circle, add an Event, then open the wish list. There is no fee to join or to use Gyfterli.
